Kurobasplus situations: Calling Aomine “Daiki”

I want to gradually be able to call Aomine-kun by his first name.  Thinking that way, on our way home I try to call him,”Um, Da-, Daiki-kun”  The moment I did that he turned away from me.  Thinking and reflecting that maybe it was too sudden for him, embracing me he says “You idiot.”  ”Damn it…that totally got me all excited.”  I could hear the furious beating of his heart.
